Whimsical 1 Liter Alabaster White with Jade Green Loetz Chicken Pitcher designed by Richard Teschner. This pitcher was produced in 4 different sizes in 1906 & 1910 but you rarely see them available for sale as pitchers were often broken from use.
c. 1907, 7” High x 6 1/2” Wide, 1 Liter
Fair Condition - there is significant loss to the jade green threading on one of the sides and a tiny amount missing from the other so it does display well. I don’t normally buy damaged glass but this is a unusual example.
See Lötz Böhemisches Glass, 1880-1949 Band 1 p.241 for a smaller Crystal example
1907, Series II Production #4506 documented as being designed by Richard Teschner. See Lötz Böhemisches Glass, 1880-1949 Band 2 p.177 & p.433
See Das Böhmisches Glas 1700-1950 Vol IV, p.46 #IV.53 for example of decor.
